Job description
Our client is a growing and developing business in the area of luxury serviced apartments and offering a more friendly and less impersonal experience than staying in an impersonal hotel . The key tasks of this role are to continue to build and develop solid relationships with and account manage a core of existing key booking agents and to build and grow a portfolio of new and prospect agents, required to maintain and increase targeted occupancy in all locations .
Targeting letting and estate agents, corporate travel agents, serviced apartment booking agents, third parties, and website agents.
Key Responsibilities:
• proactive account management of all existing agents, developing new contacts within these agents where possible,
• hold quarterly account review meetings and frequent face to face visits with key agents –approximately 260 visits per calendar year
• establish strong strategic partnerships with all types of agents, positioning the organisation as the first choice provider for their current and future accommodation needs
• identify new agent opportunities, both in the UK and abroad (USA, India, Europe) and formulate a suitable sales approach in conjunction with CRM, BDM and BDE
• explore, identify and target new categories of agents
• building and networking – producing and maintaining sales & marketing plan
key skills & experienced required:
ideally suited to someone who has worked within the “agent” industry with relevant experience in a proactive sales role
Previous experience of agency sales and account management preferred
a strong track record of achieving revenue and appointment targets and sales successes
be highly motivated, target-driven and very well organised
first class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate well
