Service Support Analyst - Virtualisation - Urgent
Job description
Our client a major IT outsourcing organisation who are currently working with a variety of blue chip clients are seeking an additional member to their team. The role is an IS Service Support Analyst – Virtualisation – the ideal candidate will have strong service delivery skills and able to support virtualisation services and wintel dependencies for multiple customers and work to agreed SLA’s.
Strong customer focus, good communication skills and able to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment. Taking ownership of problems and escalating these as and where required. Using their own initiative and extremely self-motivated whilst working as a key member of the team mentoring and exchanging information
Experience of supporting mission critical solutions in large global infrastructures incorporating;
o VMware vSphere
o Microsoft Hyper-V
o Citrix Xen Server (desirable)
o Microsoft Server 2003, 2008
Skills and knowledge required include:
VMware v Sphere
Microsoft Hyper V
Microsoft Server 2003, 2008
Citrix Xen Server
ITIL V3
