Installation Technicians
Job description
Our client is looking for Installation Technicians commutable to KT19, KT7, KT12, KT11, KT13, KT14, KT15, KT6, GU25, TW20, TW17, TW18, TW16. To install and repair Virgin Media’s products, (Modem, DTV, ATV and Telephony) and basic Network elements as required, in accordance with the Company SOP’s and all other technical requirements.
To ensure that all work is completed within a timely and professional manner.
To ensure that a professional relationship is maintained with both internal and external customers at all times.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and NRSWA requirements.
• To be able to work unsupervised using their own initiative.
• Experience of working with hand and power tools.
• To be able to demonstrate the ability to be a positive influence when working as part of a team.
• Able to demonstrate an ability to resolve difficult situations.
• To be able to demonstrate a professional approach.
• Self motivated.
• Good communications skills
• Electronic/electrical engineering qualifications.
• Knowledge of basic HFC and Telephony principles.
• To recognise and understand the need for preventative maintenance within the Virgin Media network.
• Be able to use the following test equipment: Signal Level Meter, Laptop, and able to use common windows base programs to Install Virgin Media products.
• Full & Clean driving license.
• Experience of safe working at heights
Six week training schedule is offered
